Empowering Applied Technology Since 2009
As part of the Tri Darma of Higher Education, the Department of Electrical Engineering Universitas Indonesia actively carries out Community Service (P2M) activities, coordinated in one unit: the Community Service and Engagement Unit (UP2M) of the Department of Electrical Engineering (DTE), Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia (FTUI).
These activities directly involve faculty and students as a means of contributing scientific knowledge and academic responsibility to the general public and related industries, to produce community empowerment through the dissemination of electrical engineering technology and various engineering research and testing activities involving strategic industry partners.

Facilitating faculty and student research under the auspices of competency laboratories.
Community Service
Delivering appropriate electrical engineering technology directly to communities and fostered villages.

History & Profile
As part of the Tri Darma of Higher Education, the Department of Electrical Engineering Universitas Indonesia actively carries out Community Service (P2M) activities, coordinated through the Community Service and Engagement Unit (UP2M). These activities directly involve faculty and students as a means of contributing scientific knowledge and academic responsibility to the general public and related industries.
Through these activities, we aim to empower communities by disseminating electrical engineering technology and conducting various engineering research and testing activities in collaboration with strategic industry partners.
Establishment Foundation
UP2M DTE was established based on the Dean of Engineering Faculty Decree No.: 005A/D/SK/FTUI/1/2009 and Rector of Universitas Indonesia Decree No. 2733/SK/R/UI/2018 dated November 8, 2018 concerning the Transformation of the Community Service and Engagement Unit of the Department of Electrical Engineering into a Special Work Unit for Community Service and Engagement of Universitas Indonesia.
